SoLo Backup & Clean Terms of Use

1. Our Relationship with SoLoVision
SoLo Backup & Clean is developed and published by SoLoVision LLC. The app is a free, account-free Android utility for personal backup and storage care. These terms form an agreement between you and SoLoVision when you install or use the app.
2. User-Controlled Cleanup
The app identifies possible cleanup items, but a suggestion is not a guarantee that an item is unwanted. Review the summary, protected-copy indicators, destination, and Android confirmation before approving cleanup. Android may move media to trash instead of erasing it immediately, and storage may not be released until that trash is emptied.
3. Optional Backup
Photo backup and message backup are optional and are never required to use cleanup. Confirm important files in the destination before removing the local copy. Keep message-backup passwords secure. SoLoVision cannot recover a forgotten archive password or restore an archive that is missing, damaged, or incompatible with a device provider.
4. Android and Third-Party Services
Android controls permissions, media confirmation, uninstall confirmation, app storage, Downloads, default-SMS roles, and document destinations. Google Drive or another document provider may apply separate terms, storage limits, synchronization delays, and privacy practices. SoLoVision does not control those services.
5. Message Restore Safety
Follow all on-screen restore instructions, including Airplane mode and returning your usual messaging app to the default role before reconnecting. Restore support varies by Android version, carrier, messaging app, and device manufacturer. RCS and private messaging-app databases are outside the app’s backup archive.
6. Acceptable Use and Availability
Use the app only on devices and content you are authorized to manage. Do not misuse it to access another person’s private content or violate applicable law. Features may be unavailable when Android, a manufacturer, a carrier, or a document provider restricts access.
7. Warranty and Liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for confirming backups and cleanup choices. The disclaimers and limitation-of-liability provisions in the main SoLoVision Terms of Service apply to this app.
